I'm bringing the busy fall season to an end with this family of three and their fun Autumn sunset session in Mansfield. It was an evening of lots of giggles, tickles, running around... and graham teddies :) :) :)
And of course, I love to end a family session by letting the kiddos go free while Mom and Dad get a few photos alone, because it is often the first time they've had professional portraits done, just the two of them, since their wedding! (Uhmm... totally guilty!!)
Leila has been in front of my camera many times since we met almost ten years ago, but this time was infinitely more special than any other. Her sweet husband, Adrian, contacted me to arrange a family photo session for Leila's birthday last month, not even realizing how long I've been waiting for this day! We met up on a sunny Saturday morning, and we chatted it up while I clicked away. The star of the photo shoot was, of course, their adorable son Harrison - the most easygoing toddler ever!!
Happy haaaappy birthday, my sweet friend! Thank you for being such a bright light in the lives of everyone around you!
For a minute there we considered rescheduling... and then decided to go for it, be it what it will! Lucky for us, the rain that had poured non stop all through the night, eased up a bit just as we met up for this photoshoot last Sunday morning.

The photos were taken at the Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield. I've never been there before, and I fell in love with it! Note to self: go back and explore it some more with my camera very soon! Anyone wants to come along?!
